Ried, 46, a native of Burlington who now resides in the Quad Cities area, has been on tour with blues giant James Armstrong the past few years. As second guitarist for the legend from California, Ried has played coast-to-coast in venues big and small, from Buddy Guy's Legends to tiny, one-room clubs.
