Join Fiber Artist Alex from Dapper House Menagerie to learn the basics of punch needle and give your walls the mini rug they've always wanted! Design your own abstract art and choose from a variety of colored yarns, as you're guided through beginning techniques. Each kit comes with a punch needle and threader, a 6" embroidery hoop, Monk's cloth, and a fabric marker - all of the tools you'll need to continue your new hobby at home! Supplies are limited to 20 participants, with first preference given to those who register on Eventbrite and arrive by 1:30pm. Walkups may be accommodated at 1:30pm if there are spots available at that time. This is a free outdoor workshop with free 2-hour parking validation upon request. This programming was created in part through the City of Los Angeles Arts Development Fee Program, Department of Cultural Affairs. About Alex and Dapper House Menagerie: Dapper House Menagerie is a collection of fiber goods intended for the eclectic, colorful, and sacred spaces we call home.
