Each January we invite the community to our annual Open House, where parents and children from all over the South Bay Area have the opportunity to explore our wonderful school campus, meet our teachers, talk to our board members, and learn about what makes LGPNS so very special.  This year our Open House will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 10am-1pm.  Los Gatos Parent Nursery School is a co-op, parent-participation preschool that has been educating children and parents since 1943. At LGPNS, children learn through discovery and creative play. They develop in an atmosphere of encouragement and support where free choice of activities is emphasized and curriculum fosters social and emotional confidence. With a beautiful, fully-owned facility, the school provides a fun and nurturing educational experience for children ages 1-5 and an opportunity for parents to play an active role in their child’s education. We offer a developmentally oriented preschool experience in which children learn through play. Children develop in an atmosphere of encouragement and support where they are free to explore and discover. We emphasize socialization and free choice of activities. The daily schedule affords exposure to large and small group activities as well as self-directed project participation and free play. LGPNS provides a rich experience for children and their parents to share, and a wonderful first step in the lifelong process of learning.
