Description

The purpose of this event is to promote community engagement and awareness through fashion, which is a common interest shared amongst various groups of people in our local community and society overall. The fashion week will be organized to cater to areas of need such as jobs, academic assistance, health, food, and other lifestyle needs. We also hope to attract visitors or tourists to our areas through this enriching experience. Proceeds from the show will be allocated for selected essay/performing arts competition winners from local schools. The Black Renaissance Fashion show will serve as our grand finale! (Featuring local talent and brands such as Black Cotton, Thrifted & Lifted, and Culture Icon). Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Roanoke Rapids, NC Time: 7pm - 8:30pm Doors open at 6:30pm
