Family-owned business searching for a full-time skilled and reliable handyman to join our team. You will be responsible for upkeep and repair duties at our single-family or duplex homes within Lee County. Primary duties will include assessing and making repairs, purchasing necessary supplies and responding to maintenance requests. The ideal candidate will possess the following: -5-7 years of general handyman experience, including electrical and plumbing -Ability to assess task and conclude how to repair and materials needed -Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner -Own reliable transportation and tools -Ideal candidate will have some HVAC and well-water equipment experience -Strong communication skills with management and tenants -Self-starter, responsible with good time management-skills -Conduct assessments of appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves -Provide clients’ with support and guidance on maintaining equipment -Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements and skills -Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC -Experience using hand and electrical tools -Own truck and tools -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Physical stamina and dexterity -High school diploma or equivalent 40 hour work/week Must be available for weekend emergencies, as needed
