Dancers that are interested in participating as a DC All-star can register for the workshop for an opportunity to learn choreography and perform in the "Ubiquitous" dance production on February 5, 2023.  This is an opportunity for dancers age 10-18 years of age. (Accepting a limited number of dancers.) Dancers must have a minimum of 3 years of performance experience. The Workshop: Dancers will learn choreography from 8a-12noon (Feb 5th) in a convention style workshop session the day of the show, and perform as a DC All-star dancer.   Dancer Registration fee: $75 Workshop observation band $20: (1 parent/guardian per registered dancer) All participants are required to complete a participation release form. Participant Release Form will be emailed to participants after registration Is completed. The Schedule: 8 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. (DC All-star arrival and warm-up)-Must enter through High Point Theatre side stage door (the stage door will be unlocked at 8 a.m.) 8:30 a.m. - 12 noon (Workshop) 12 noon (Depart from venue) 5:00 p.m. - 5:10 p.m. Report back at the venue (Check-In), late arrivals will not be permitted *After 5:15p.m. no one will be permitted. No late arrivals accepted DC All-stars should report back to the venue at 5 p.m and sign-in with a Wrangler at stage door.  (Dancer's only). Parents/Guardians are required to have a show ticket, and must enter from front main entrance.  (Tickets for the show can be purchased at ( ) Venue will open at 6p, and house will open at 6:30p.  Show will start promptly at 7p Parents/guardians can pick up DC All-star dancers from balcony at the END OF THE SHOW. Dancers must be signed out appropriately. The Show: Dance participants will be seated In the balcony with a Wrangler. After curtain call, DC All-Star dancers will go to the balcony where there belongings are. Parents are expected to sign their dancer out from the balcony at that time. DC All-Stars should wear black leggings without any visible logos, and a black fitted tank.  No shoes are required for the performance. (bare foot or foot undies are acceptable) *no socks, ballet shoes, pirouettes, or jazz shoes) Dancers should arrive at 5p at stage door to meet Wrangler, with stage ready makeup on, and hair styled (middle part, two braids), small stud earrings or no earrings, neutral finger/toe nail polish, and with their performance costume on. Dancers should not bring valuables, and Is responsible for keeping up with their own personal Items. MBDC, Dance Collective, and High Point theatre are NOT responsible for lost or stolen Items. Dancers may bring a refillable water bottle.
