Dasher is Dashing!

Description

Dasher was roaming the streets of south Miami, beat up and with a sizeable chunk taken out of his neck. You could tell he had to scrap to survive but that is not his true nature, which is loving and sweet. Luckily in his journey, Dasher happened to pass by a house in the Redlands that offered him food and water. Feeling spared, Dasher hung around the front yard of this home for 2 weeks, never once leaving the property; hoping against all odds that this was his ticket to salvation. The resident family, who feeds dumped/transient dogs in that area, started reaching out to various rescues to see if anyone would be able to take this poor pup in and off the street. Cold weather was expected for the Christmas holiday and the yard was no place for Dasher to winter the Florida freeze. Fortunately, a kind human stepped up and took Dasher into foster where he is getting better and stronger with each day. Dasher is an American Bulldog/Terrier mix, weighing in at around 50lb. He is less than 1 year old, house trained, rides well in a car, walks well on a leash, and knows some basic commands such as Sit and Stay. Dasher does great with people including strangers and absolutely adores the little ones. He plays well with other dogs and displays no aggression towards cats when on his nightly walk. Dasher does not chew your stuff, does not dig up your yard and does not excessively bark. He does love to snuggle and get belly rubs, 100% of the time! Dasher is neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, and exhibits no medical problems or allergies. Home checks are required. Please do not contact if you are not willing to allow a home visit. Rehoming fee applies.
