Want to learn how to garden? Always start from the seed & we'll show you the way. Already have seeds? Come trade them with localand new gardeners. Come Join Mpenzis' Place & The Plant Plug for an afternoon of free community gardening, Plant Pop Up Shop, Education on seed saving & plant education. Indoor and outdoor plants will be available for sale. Please register one name when grabbing a ticket. Each attendee MUST have a ticket. Each ticket will include one mini seed library. The admission goes towards The Plant Plug & The Project 43 Garden's future workshops. All children MUST be accompanied by an Adult. No children will be given garden supplies nor seeds if they are ALONE. The Workshop will include: Personalized Convos on Urban Farming Step by step seed extraction Tutorial Plant History & Plant Care TipsEach PAID Participant ticket will receive A mini seed library to begin their collection (3 packs and an organizer)A Small Succulent to take home and care for :)(Optional: prickly pear and/or nopal cutting for propagation)If you have any questions or potential inquiries, please contact The Plant Plug vis Instagram @theplantplugla or phone (657)206-0887 or contact Project 43. We are looking for sponsor and facilitators. Rules (PLEASE READ): Mask wearing highly suggested. No plants nor materials will be held for those NOT in attendance.
