Join us Saturday January 21st at Urban Earth for our first free seminar of the year! We'll be learning about the history, propagation, potting, and care of aroids, a family containing houseplant favorites like pothos, monstera, philodendrons, and many more. Open to all plant-lovers! Stay tuned for more free seminars coming soon! Our speaker is Urban Earth's very own Cora Pitt. Cora is a local gardener who found her love of soil and plants growing up in Minnesota. In 2022, she completed the Shelby County Extension Master Gardener Program and currently serves on the board of the Memphis Horticultural Society. Her specialties include indoor plants and vegetable gardening. She is currently completing math and science courses at University of Memphis to pursue physical therapy. When she's not gardening or studying, you'll find her teaching pilates or out and about with her rottie Otto.
