It’s time to LEVEL UP in the New Year with some arcade games! With the bright, luminous lights and the techno sounds of childhood, come capture the essence of enjoyment and even fantasy. Network with your fellow creatives and find ways to take your art to the next level. Location: Round1 Arcade 1191 Roseville Blvd. Suite 150, Roseville, CA 95678 Date: January 15, 2023 Time: 2-4pm Theme: Japanese Arcade ————— Round One doesn’t allow commercial media, so everything we will be doing is personal and for fun…if anyone asks. For the record I did attempt to call them but they didn’t answer. So to ensure we are allowed to shoot I recommend not bringing any large equipment. ————— General idea of event: The challenge is to work with every model/photography in a given group within 20 minutes. There will be 4 groups of different sub-themes that each model will sign up for. The themes are J-pop, gothic, streetwear, and cyberpunk. A group of photographers will be assigned to a group of models. The photographers and models in each group must get their shots with everyone in their group within 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes is over, photographer groups and model groups will swap. This will repeat 4 times. After the 4 sessions are over, all groups will meet back at the front to rotate. Groups will be identified by colored glow sticks. Below is the itinerary: 1:15pm: Introductions, Overview of itinerary, go over rules, and assign photographer groups to model groups 2:00pm: 1st round begins 2:20pm: 1st round ends, swap groups 3 minute break 2:25pm: 2nd round begins 2:55pm: 2nd round ends, swap groups 3 minute break 3pm: 3rd round begins 3:20pm: 3rd round ends, swap groups 3 minute break 3:25pm: 4th round begins 3:45pm: 4th round ends 3:50pm: Everyone meets up again, announcement of future events, conclude event, open announcements.
