In the fall of 2020, Minnesota photographer John Noltner and his wife Karen sold their home and hit the road. The pandemic had shut down public programming for his storytelling project, A Peace of My Mind, but he could still gather new stories. So they set out on an 800-day and 93,000 mile road trip across the country to connect with people who are finding creative solutions to some of our country's most complex challenges. Somehow, they have chosen winter to return to Minnesota. Though the weather might be cold, you are invited to join them for a warm evening of celebration as John shares stories and photos from the road and a little preview of what's next. Tickets are free but required. Light snacks and beverages will be on hand.
