Monarch Investment is actively interviewing qualified maintenance candidates for an Apartment Maintenance Technician (EPA or HVAC Certification Preferred) role at our owner managed community, Longridge Apartments located in Baton Rouge, LA. PAY: Up to $21 an hour plus awesome on-call bonuses and quarterly bonuses SCHEDULE: M-F daytime schedule (example 8-4:30PM) On-call shared every other week (minimum pay of 1.5hrs for any emergency work and $70 bonus for those weeks) Paid holidays and first year of 80 hours pto DAY TO DAY: A majority of this position will deal with completing maintenance repairs inside resident apartments, completing turns for new residents to move into, and maintaining facilities. Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more What we are looking for: Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications Maintaining property grounds Preventative maintenance Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members Super Powers You Need: 1 + years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent Dry walling including painting and carpentry Knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe Knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures Able to repair and/or diagnose appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal General knowledge of HVAC preferred General knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas Be able to provide great customer service to our residents Pool certified or willing to get certified within the first season (where applicable) A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview.
