Notice that the liberal did not say, I will do something about it. This is typical liberal thinking. It is not my responsibility to do something, but you should give your time and resources to make life better for those of us who will not put forth the effort to better ourselves. Who are we kidding. Liberalism is masquerading as socialism/communism, offering the bottom dwellers the promise of a life comparable to those who work and provide for their families and themselves. A life that allows them to make no effort on their part but able to reap all the rewards of those who do make an effort. The lib. telling us that this is disheartening, something should be done is the best self description of liberalism and liberals you will ever find. They have no problem telling the rest of us what we should do to make their lives better but making no effort on their own to accomplish this.
