Summary: Develop and operate the Service Department with internal and external customer service, preparing estimates, purchasing parts, technical service coordination and customer follow-ups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate Service & Inventory Software
• Provide guidance and support for customer phone calls and walk-ins
• Service scheduling: basic tune-ups, oil changes, battery maintenance and sales, etc.
• Generating accurate estimates, quotes and follow-up
• Purchasing parts needed
• Remote trouble shooting of product matters; including, electric and gas operations
• Chassis or body damage repairs or upgrades
• Quality control support
• Sales support
• Monitoring the development of the department growth
• Analyzing departmental and cross function efficiencies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Work well independently and as a team
• Advanced computer knowledge
• Mechanical knowledge
