Description

WHO: We are a couple of guys in our 50's, both guitarists/singers and one of us plays harmonica. We disbanded our previous band a few months ago and took some time to reset as an acoustic duo. Now we're ready to put a full band back together! WHAT: We are primarily a cover band. Main genres include Americana, indie rock and classic rock. Our current set list includes tunes from the Decemberists, Rolling Stones, Drive By Truckers, Patti Smith, Social Distortion, Counting Crows and Jefferson Airplane to name a few. We also recently started dabbling in some originals. Since we are currently just a duo we have stuck to more of the acoustic, easy going side of things but we're open to other rock genres as well - blues, garage, some punk, etc. We like metal too but we are NOT interested in performing it. WHERE: We have a great rehearsal space near the intersection of highways 280 & 94 on the Mpls/St Paul border. It's a big garage converted into an art space. WHEN: We generally meet Thur nights to practice but this is open to rescheduling as needed. We strive to meet every week, but as working adults with lots of commitments we know that's not always possible. WHY: Other than just the pure joy of making music with like minded others, we like to perform too. The rehearsal space described above doubles as a performance space. We would also like to play out in local venues as we build our set and tighten up as a full band.
