Description

We are looking for an experienced and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Tech reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining and repairing all facilities and grounds. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: -Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting/caulking, and carpentry. -Inspecting buildings and grounds to identify issues -Planning and scheduling repairs -Following preventative maintenance procedures -Maintaining inventory records for equipment and supplies. -Carrying out maintenance tasks with good housekeeping and sanitation procedures Maintenance Technician Requirements: -2+ years of maintenance technician experience -Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude via hands-on testing -Knowledge of water, electrical, and gas maintenance and repair methods, tools, materials and equipment used in plumbing maintenance, repair and construction work; safety procedures, requirements and equipment -Strong troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to other maintenance supervisors, engineers, technicians, and operators. -Demonstrated ability to work safely -Proactive and able to work independently
