Description
We have two standard male black tri Australian Shepherd pups left. These pups were born on 10/28 and turned 8 weeks old on Dec 21st. They are utd on shots, wormed and ACA registered. Tails and dew claws are done and they've been vet checked. Unfortunately the pups caught ringworm, vet said likely from a barn cat,(apparently cats can be silent carriers) we caught it early and have been treating the pups for a little over a week now, each pup has 2 to 3 spots. Ringworm is not a worm but a fungus in the same family as jock itch or athletes foot. They are being treated with a vet prescribed antifungal shampoo and ointment, which will be sent with each pup. Ringworm is not life threatening or genetic, it is contagious and does need treated, treatment consists of bathes twice a week and ointment on the spots twice a day. Vet said it can take 2 to 8 weeks to be rid of depending on consistency of treatment and inviroment (a humid or wet inviroment supports fungus) anyway I am loaded with info and ready to answer all of your questions! I don't want this to keep these beautiful smart pups from finding their forever families, that is why they've been discounted. If you are wanting a family dog or road companion or farm hand but don't want to pay a huge fee message me and let's talk!
