Part Time Delivery Driver Role - Brewery

Lamplighter delivery drivers are responsible for delivering Lamplighter cans, kegs, and bottles around the Greater Boston area, maintaining positive and professional relationships with accounts, and maintaining a clean, comfortable, and organized delivery van. Delivery drivers should have a working knowledge of Lamplighter beer, and a suitable understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures. This position is currently 8 hours a week, with a possibility of more hours in the future. RESPONSIBILITIES: • BEFORE DRIVING o Assist with loading truck o Review delivery route and quantities on itinerary and confirm that totals on itinerary match what is on truck o Note any necessary maintenance or repairs needed prior to driving • WHILE DRIVING o Drive routes safely and responsibly o Re-fuel truck as needed o Inspect truck for damage or issues as needed o Deliver product to liquor stores/bars, which may include traveling up or down stairs and/or carrying kegs or cases into cold rooms or other storage rooms o Place product where requested by liquor store/bar staff o Request signatures on invoices upon product drop o Request/Pick up payment as needed o Pick up empty kegs/empty cans as needed o Return to brewery to restock truck for remainder of route as needed • AFTER DRIVING o Empty the truck of all empties, pallets, trash, etc. o Stack empty kegs on pallets and scan in as returned o Sweep back of truck and remove all trash o Deliver signed invoices and cash/checks to proper person/location o Send end of route recap to Director of Sales • OVERALL o Act with professionalism and courtesy at all times. Positively represent the Lamplighter brand to accounts across Massachusetts. o Complete additional tasks as requested from management o Maintain open communications with Director of Sales regarding delivery logistics, timing, troubleshooting, etc. REQUIREMENTS: • Clean driving record and up-to-date license (no CDL required) • Ability to keep the van organized, fueled, and clean • Positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to lift 100+ lbs • Ability to be mobile and on feet for 8+ hour shifts • At least 21 years old • Ability to utilize When I Work to view and maintain schedule, request time-off, and swap shifts *No prior experience is necessary for this position **No formal education is necessary for this position
