Seeing Joan of Arc on Twelfth Night is our seasonal signal that finally Carnival is here! After the parade, if you're feeling your dancing feind, queen, or between, come keep the party going with Krewe d'Esprit that Friday, January 6th for our (hopefully annual) dance party and raffle, Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner! Is it an egregiously long party name? Yes. Do we care? NOPE. 'Tis the season to be egregious, no? And because what is pleasure without a little social aid, a portion of the proceeds from the raffles and every ticket sold will go to REJAC, The Reproductive Justice Action Collective, in recognition and support of the vital work they've done and continue to do. Raffling what, you say? Oh, you know, just two fabulous headpieces your costume closet already covets. Will those be the only things on offer? We guess you'll have to show to know! Jams start at 9 PM, so come on by American Townhouse (1012 N. Rampart) after the parade; you can grab a bite if you're peckish or come straight upstairs to dance the night (and your cares) away! Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and $60 for open bar VIP (including call liquors like Espolon and Tito's)!
