About the Class Inspired by our signature Mellow Hum & Sound Bath offerings, join us for 75 minutes of slow, gentle movement combined with healing vibration. In this workshop, we’ll experiment with practices that inspire presence. Traditionally, winter is a time to embrace stillness and look within. Getting in touch with ancient ways of honoring this season can support us in sitting with discomfort, creating calm where there is dis-ease, and ultimately connecting with hidden growth that is happening beneath the surface. When we muster the courage to be with what is already here for us, we are better equipped to make plans and take action aligned with where we want to go. About the Studio Humming Puppy is our yoga studio. All our classes are limited to only 30 places with an even and luxurious amount of room between each mat, so you can focus on your practice and not on another student’s behind! All mats are set in place prior to the start of class. It is a warm studio with a consistent Hum that replaces music being played in class. As a space for pause and sanctuary, Humming Puppy provides a yoga experience that honors traditional yogic practices. Central to our philosophy we guide movement alongside a curated and resonant ‘Hum’. A frequency of our own design to deeply soothe, or to simply generate good vibes. About the Program Our classes are not based on any one yoga style but reflect authentically the inspirations and backgrounds of our teachers. All offerings will include the fundamental principles of breath- pranayama, movement-asana and awareness- meditation. Humming Puppy teachers are a warm and welcoming collective passionate about sparking curiosity, conversation and connection through the practices of yoga. We are mindful of both embracing and being respectful of a diverse community in all of our offerings. We encourage an unhurried experience and the opportunity for meaningful connections.
