The Big Ideas Festival is the culminating event for student teams competing in Dallas ISD’s Pitch for Good Competition, a districtwide search for novel ideas to improve the community we live in. Leading up to this event, student teams experienced the entrepreneurship process through two days of workshops. At the end of the two day workshop, teams will compete to make it to the final round during the Big Ideas Festival!
Each school team will share their pitch during the Entrepreneurship Exhibition and the top team will present their final pitches live on stage. The first place teams in each categories will win “seed funding” and a campus makerspace makeover. This event is open to families, staff and community members.
Doors will open at 10:00 AM sharp and the event will follow the schedule below:
10:00-10:30 AM | Entrepreneurship Exhibition
All teams will present their novel idea in a “science fair” style exhibition.
10:30-11:30 AM | Final Pitch Competition
