Presentation: A Proactive Approach Wins the Day - Managing Your Rated Barriers in Healthcare Construction Speaker: Mark Izsa (Regional Manager-Healthcare Northeast) Overview: Firestopping till this day is still often misunderstood and misapplied. Let STI walk you thru the steps on how to help ensure a successfully Firestopped facility and construction project. This presentation will discuss some of the many Firestopping solutions STI has to offer. Firestopping is the last line of defense for patients and employees within the hospital, especially for those who are non-ambulatory. There are many divisions involved in the process such as engineering, construction & design, and information & technology. The challenges of dealing with COVID19 have brought about new ways to keep employees and patients separated as much as possible. STI has developed a device to assist in this effort. We will show this new device and its capabilities.
