Zenma Job Posting If you love wearing and making costumes this is the job for you! We are currently looking for a person with an eye for attention to detail and quality and takes pride in their work. They must be able to consistently follow a method, like to be efficient and produce a large quantity of things. This is a positive and fun entree level Job where the sky is the limit based on your skillset and abilities. Basic skills in sewing and craft making is required however we are willing to train you. We produce exception costume garments and accessories and are looking for you to join our rapidy growing team and new retail store in Bell Meade, Florida. Advanced Clothing/Costuming Alterations experience is a plus but not required. Previous experience working with commercial sewing machines and speciality machines a plus but not required. Professional appearance and demeanor as well as ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of Fabric Materials and care a plus but not required. Experience with feathers and sequins a plus. Fit and alter costumes for a variety of actors and performers. Crafting custom mohawks, facechains, accessories and hats. Experience with hot glue and epoxy a major plus. Attend dress rehearsals and show openings, festivals and pop-up shops. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Operates in a team environment and is expected to work in a collaborative way with leadership team and colleagues as well as independently as required. Help with organization tasks and store cleanliness daily after work. Also looking for proficient sewers and pattern makers. Pay according to skillset and finishing techniques. General knowledge of clothing construction, alterations and repairs. Mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties required on a daily basis. Proactively follows through on all aspects required of projects. Willingly supports department operations. Machines On-Site: 2x Juki Straight Stitch 1x Pegasus Cover Stitch 1x Tabletop Hemming 1x Tabletop Surger Must be able to move costume racks full of clothing if necessary. Carrying, pushing, pulling lifting and holding objects up to 50lbs. Maintain a clean and safe environment environment for guests and team members.
