On the 2nd Sunday March 1994, The Collegiate Connection began a journey to bring popular genres of party music, from different areas of the country, & create the biggest dance party in the region! We named it Soul Nite because it was the Urban night at a country & western night club. Now, looking in the rear-view mirror, history has proven there was nothing like it before nor since. From March 1994-May 2003, D&D on Sunday nights were the biggest weekly promotion in this part of the country breaking records, exposing new artist, breaking record labels & celebrating our local personalities. Our abrupt, unexpected closure turned this celebrated promotion into an iconic throwback. 10 years into the rise of social media, the demands to revisit the energy, the music & the dance floor that defined a decade was finally answered. On Sunday January 19th, 2014, at City Hall in Cordova, TN WE experienced what has arguably become the benchmark for live ass parties. The beginning of the D&D Reunion Celebrations… At this point the D&D Reunion popularity has lasted just as long as the club run spanning a combined total of 29 years. The venues changed. The night life culture & tastes changed. The dance floors replaced with couches & booths…. But the music never dies.
