Immediate opening for a Professional Housekeeper for a Brand New Hotel!! Open interviews between 9am-2pm monday through saturday. We are an interior corridor property that is smoke free! Our hotel is so clean our customers TIP housekeepers daily! Employment type: hours vary from 20-35 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:30 pm; and includes weekends. PUNCTUALITY a must! The individual applying for this position must have a pleasant appearance, disposition and attitude; be polite and mannerly, and willing to learn etiquette and social skills as the hotel accommodates a very well-travelled clientele. Requirements: must have 1 or more years of professional hotel room attendant experience must have reliable transportation must have dependable telephone for communication purposes only Responsibilities: meticulous detail to cleaning which includes dusting, polishing, vacuuming, deep industrial cleaning laundry, including ironing maintenance duties, such as monitoring and changing light bulbs, batteries, collecting trash and deliver bins to curb, as well as returning them, etc. Discussions of politics, religion, prejudice, personal matters and personal loan requests are PROHIBITED, and do not contribute to a comfortable or productive workplace; nor do we tolerate gossip or talking about other coworkers. Use of personal cell phones/mobiles are not allowed during work hours. References MUST include past work history. Background check and drug screening required. Please submit resume.
