Description

In response to the post that follows and spreads mistruths. FACTS: * 6 in 10 Americans adults do not think Trump bore a lot of responsibility for the January 6th "peaceful protest" (I use this term to be consistent with the language used by the media when the far left torched federal courthouses, occupied federal facilities, attempted to storm federal facilities, and did billions of dollars in damage as the result of antifa and BLM). * More Americans identify as Republican (30%) versus Democrat (26%). Since January 2022, this is a 4% increase for Republicans and a 1% decrease for Democrats. * OP is correct that Trump changes his registration from Democrat to Republican - just like 1MM+ other Americans. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/02/08/fewer-americans-now-say-trump-bears-a-lot-of-responsibility-for-the-jan-6-riot/ https://www.axios.com/2020/09/16/riots-cost-property-damage https://news.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/more-than-1-million-voters-switch-to-gop-raising-alarm-for-democrats Ill-informed biased original post: " 6 in 10 Americans say Trump should be criminally charged for his role in Jan. 6 riot, ABC poll says" GOP fanatics rant, rave, asserting they have majority. The numbers prove otherwise. National membership in GOP has fallen to below 42% of registered voters. Democrat registered voters is over 46% and climbing. Trump cult is dwindling it seems history is catching up to Turncoat Trump It turns out you don't have to look far to find evidence that Trump wasn't always a conservative Republican. Trump was registered as a Democrat for more than eight years in the 2000s, according to New York City voter records made public during his 2016 campaign. The plethora of the GOP and Trumpites posts here smells of despair.
