Re: Remember every time you see a Hispanic working in America”

Funny thing is, technically speaking, most Hispanics are in fact - Americans. Just like a French person is European or a Greek one is as well, since they were born and live in Europe - so are Mexicans, Guatemalans, Hondurans, Brazilians, Canadians etc - Americans. However, I know you mean United States OF America - Americans. But your argument has other weak wording, and hence, arguments. There are millions of Hispanic Americans in the US ( and I am referring there to your use of “Americans” as those who were born here and have roots here) who are also Hispanic - and bilingual! So your headline that racistly ( new adverb) states that “every time you see a Hispanic…that is a job an ‘American’ could be working” doesn’t make sense again. Lastly, “if they don’t speak English they don’t belong here” is a curious statement. Do you mean before anyone comes to the USA they should take an English test before coming and if they don’t pass= no entry? Or do we call la policía on those who don’t speak inglés - after, presumably, you’ve given them a standardized English test? Wait, is there a law against being a Spanish speaker? Are you a vigilante that will take matters into your own hands? ( the “we need to stop this now” makes it sound like it). What is it as “Americans” you want “us” ( I put that in parentheses because I assume you only want European Americans or other types of Americans - just not Hispanic Americans) to do about it as you suggest? Oh, and aren’t wages high? Seems like the news is talking more about not being able to fill jobs instead of no jobs being available- what news are you reading? Anyway, I am Hispanic, son-of-an immigrant who was asked to come to the USA because the employer could not find as many skilled workers as he needed in the USA. I am also educated (key to getting a good job) and helping my community ( and that means ALL in the community) be a better version of themselves. I am not a religious person, but I have a feeling you are. Is your god a loving god or a hateful, vindictive, and xenophobic one? - Because that’s how you come across. I understand the border is a mess. Republicans and democrats have no solutions. Walls don't work and militarizing the border reeks of East Germany. Do you want to shoot them? Most just want a better life… like I’m sure your ancestors wanted when they came here ( or forced) assuming you are not Native American (fyi: most Hispanic’s bloodlines go way farther back in the American continents than (making an assumption here) yours. So get off your high horse and get a better job and stop blaming others. What is your solution?
