i want to start a real lean and real heavy band with bass, drums, and vocals. i play bass and have for a long time but shouldn't ever have a microphone in front of me, so i'm hoping to find a drummer and a vocalist OR a drummer/vocalist to write, record, and play with. i'm in my early 30s, have quality gear, and my shit together so please be similar in all those regards. no delusions of fame but want to write original, interesting music. here are a bunch of bands i like. what i'd write would probably be somewhere in this neighborhood: the chariot, eyelet, converge, the red chord, botch, cattle decap, the armed, sleep, every time i die, dillinger, the bled, birds in row, pig destroyer, '68, chat pile, cult leader, ed gein, poison the well
