The Inspection Technician team member is responsible for Printing and/ having on hand necessary permits and plans. Opening panels for inspections, Meeting the Building official onsite, closing all panels after this inspection, afix placards and stickers when required, commission software when required, taking photos and communicating inspection results to supervisor. Picking up and droping off permits at building departments when necessary. You must have good, clean reliable transportation, Perfect position for ride share driver to earn additional earnings with general technical ability. Completing all items on work orders provided by Source The Sun Solar, Inc. Inspecting, identifying and documenting damaged and associated repairs in companies digital job folders with clear photos Extremely reliable & dependable (time management & punctuality) Follow directions and communicate daily with project managers. Team player and ability to follow Source The Sun Company procedures. Strong attention to detail. Ability to perform work safely. Perform other duties not listed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work full-time in the outside elements (heat & cold). Ability to climb stairs, scaffolding, ladders, bend, stoop, crawl, squat, reach and move 6+ hours at a time. Ability to lift, move, and/or carry items which may be in excess of 50 lbs. Finger dexterity and mobility to walk on uneven terrain. QUALIFICATIONS Must have reliable and efficient vehicle. This is a use your own transportation position. Perfect for a Uber or Lyft driver to earn steady second strand of income. High school diploma or GED preferred, or will accept equivalent work experience. Ability to use basic hand and trade tools. Must have reliable transportation to jobs, fuel expence is reimbursed weekly with receipts. Ability to match paint for interior drywall and exterior trim. Minimum 2-years hands on experience. Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening & background check. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
