Bass seeks sick creative drummer to form core of a creative endeavor

I currently play bass in a regional cover band that gigs 2x a month. But my heart is in creating originals, so I’m looking to start a thing focussed on that. Are you a creative drummer with serious chops? Let’s jam and see if there is chemistry. If there is chemistry, let’s jam some more and see if cool ideas that are worth pursuing come into being. If such ideas come into being, and we’re getting along and having fun, let’s plan next steps… add musicians? Record? come up with a name or concept? Play out? Interested? Here are more details Me… I’m 54, very experienced w stage, studio, gear, writing and recording. I live in Haverhill and have a studio with a dw kit all mic’d up and ready to go. Or byo. Or I can come to you. Genre-wise, I have a hard rock/metal heart, and tend toward more aggressive stuff, but am open to everything. You… Are a seriously awesome drummer with a ton of experience who knows your shit. You show up. You’re psyched. You want to do this. You have recent recordings of your playing you’re proud to share. Electronic kit? Awesome! Small acoustic kit? Awesome. 10 piece set with a cage, 12 cymbals and a gong? Hard pass :) Looking to create a lean, mean gigging machine. That means a realistic partner that can set up quick and crush it on a small(ish) kit. One final thing. I’m not interested in “trying to make it”, whatever that means :) End game for this is to create amazing original music we’re proud of, record it, gig it and get it out to the world.
