As many school districts are being pressured to remove books and curriculum from schools in response to CRT, the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is in jeopardy of being either erased or revised to fit the narrative of selected groups. Participants will discuss the evolution of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from the perspective of Black and White America. In addition, participants will analyze why the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. continues to change and what can be done to present an authentic and accurate account of the Legacy of Dr. King, Jr.
