Starting in California with their sights set on New York, the pair set off completely unsure of what may lie in front of them. The documentary is hosted by an increasingly unreliable narrator, also played by Westling, who finds himself slipping deeper and deeper into an anxious psychosis. His difficulty separating himself from the story unfolding in front of him leaves him lost and confused. Will he be able to save his friendship along with his mind?
