A new project is coming to the former home of Crockett Store at 6224 16th St., Detroit, MI 48208. Many of us have fond memories of our neighborhood "corner store" A place where we were welcomed, where we could walk within minutes of our homes, pick up a snack or drink and catch up on neighborhood news. It was there in our own neighborhood stores where we could find life essentials - food and drinks, snacks, personal and home goods and old school internet (gossip and news). Urban neighborhoods are filled with people with unmet demands for essential products and services like personal and home goods and believe it or not, internet access. And now, its even more critical that urban markets have a place where long term residents and new ones, can stop by for essential products and services for their everyday lives.
