Then he said “ I mean working, as in gigging, as in performing music in front of real people, get it?”

How about some Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Rock, maybe a few slices of Country funk too if it’s not too tacky? Whatever music gets people charged up and having fun always works best.
I can fill lead (and rhythm) electric (and/or acoustic) guitar duties, also bass, mandolin, blues harp, also a good portion of lead vocals and vocal harmony, help with basic arrangements. Many genres and styles including Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Blues, Soul, Funk, and more come with the package. With a quirky old-school stage persona, years of part-time experience, some full-time, pro gear thrown in for good measure, I know how to do the work but help keep it all fun and interesting.
Hopefully your working or part-time working Band has a positive audience friendly presentation/orientation and one that is not just stuck on repeating same-old-same-old rudimentary covers that 9 million Bar and Grill Bands keep trying to relentlessly rehash just like a worn out jukebox. Some standards ok of course but strict note-for-note diet of "Oldies" just isn't palatable anymore. Familiar covers, some side-B’s, lesser known standards all done in an interesting and creative way? Great. Add a smattering of original grooves or tunes thrown in for good measure and you might just have the kind of musical entertainment people notice and remember. Please, no Beatles Tribute Bands!
Not that concerned about "remuneration". Quality of "product", especially vocals, name recognition, persistence, and audience appeal are always key to developing that.
Successfully retired so I have time and energy to help get things rolling again expeditiously and keep them rolling.
