Small Dog Needs New Home

Small Chihuahua/Pug mix needs a new home due to illness of owner. He is a very sweet dog, but his owner has Parkinson's and is currently in assisted living. We would keep him, but our two male dogs do not like him. He is up-to-date on vaccines and we can provide records from the vet. He walks well on a leash and does his business outside, but he has marked in our house when he was here. We cared for him when his owner was in the hospital. He was originally rescued in a rural area in the mid-west when his owners moved away and left him locked in a crate. This sweet boy deserves a home where he will be loved and cared for. Prefer a home without other dogs. He did not mind our cat at all. No re-homing fee, but we will be very selective when deciding who adopts him. We just want him to have a good, safe home. He can jump. He jumps over pet gates and on the furniture. We would love to work with rescue groups that can help this little guy find a forever home.
