Dovetail is Milwaukee's friendliest networking event for professionals in transition. We're sponsored by LAK Group, dedicated to transforming careers, cultures and organizations. Founded by alumni of an outplacement program in the height of the Recession, Dovetail has been hosted at Alioto's on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for 12 years. It's called Dovetail to describe the strength of the community, comparing it to a carpentry technique that is "noted for its resistance to being pulled apart ." You'll find people attending with roots from its origins in 2010, with the simple desire to help others.
