We are kicking off 2023 with a conversation about helping women rise! Join us on January 17th for Amplifying Women's Voices: Mentorship & Sponsorship at Steam Plant Rooftop from 5:15pm - 7:15pm. We will learn how to find a mentor and sponsor, the differences between the two and how to use your influence to help others advance. Our expert panel includes: Shelly Colomb, Vice President, Banking Sales Manager for U.S. Bank. Shelly is a graduate of the Whitworth Leadership Institute and currently serves as a Board Member for Ignite Northwest and YMCA for the Inland Northwest. She earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University and was born and raised in Spokane. Dr. Lori Hunt , Provost and Chief Learning Officer for Community Colleges of Spokane. Lori is a recipient of the Sailing Award for Excellence and a Deccio Excellence in Equity Award Nominee. She earned her undergraduate degree from Gonzaga University and her Masters and Doctorate degrees from Washington State University. Nelly Montufar, Human Resources Manager for Multifab Inc. Nelly earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University and served on the EWU's Young Professional Network and Alumni Association. Her favorite quote is "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." ~Maya Angelou Diane Quincy, Director of Leadership and Organization Development at Avista. She helps others create intentional strategies for mentorship and sponsorship, both at Avista and for programs such as Gonzaga University’s Women in Leadership Certificate. Diane serves as an advisor for Gonzaga’s leadership training programs and is a member of the Spokane Workforce Council. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and an MBA from Eastern Washington University. Linda Underwood, Senior Vice President at Banner Bank. She is an Executive in Residence at Gonzaga University and currently serves as a Board Member for the Spokane Angel Alliance. She is on the Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living Magazine Power 50 list, was a Spokane Valley Chamber Power Woman of the Year and graduated the Leadership Spokane program. Linda has served on the boards of GSI, Leadership Spokane, Spokane Club and United Way of Spokane County. She earned her undergraduate degree and MBA from Washington State University.
