SportsLink has partnered with Tampa Club Sport in St. Pete, FL to host a weekend of FUN with volleyball, social events, field day activities and more. This is President's Day Weekend (Monday is a Federal holiday). The Schedule: FRIDAY Get there early - Beach Time or Pickup VB7pm Meet N Greet - Downtown St. Pete's8:30pm Evening in Downtown St. PeteSATURDAY 9am Coed 4's - Battle Between the States12:30pm Coed VB Mix N Match - Play with players from both clubs3:30 - 5:30pm Field Day Florida Style (mini-team competitions in fun field day type games)7:30pm Dinner and Downtown St. Pete's Bar HopSUNDAY Pickup VB in the AMLunch meetupWe may add or modify the schedule slightly based on attendance. We also may add some activities for Sunday evening or Monday morning if significant # of people stay an extra day. For those of you who know Chris Barr, there will be some celebrations planned around his 50th birthday. Probably Saturday night on the Bar Hop. Cost is $60 for the weekend which includes entry into all events and tournaments (does not include beverage/food/lodging/flights). All Saturday Day Activities will be at the Rec Dec (380 105th Terrace NE). Evening Social Activities will be in Downtown St. Pete (locations to be announced to those that register/signup). We'll try to coordinate lodging and possibly carpooling with those that signup, probably a combination of AirBNB and Hotels.
