On Saturday, January 21, 2023, the Bloomington-Normal chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. (JJBN) and the McLean County Museum of History will celebrate McLean County Black history and the impact that Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has made on Black history nationally and locally. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 to 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty. This family-friendly educational event will bring Black history to life through historical characters and an interactive scavenger hunt. Participants who complete the scavenger hunt will also be placed in a drawing to win a prize. Join these amazing organizations at the McLean County Museum of History in the Governor Fifer Courtroom at 2 pm to experience this one-of-a-kind 2-hour experience.
