Welcome, Student Organization or Campus Department Leader, it's time to register your organization!All organizations will be invited to table for (2) days on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Important registration information: Registration is only open to campus departments and student organizations registered and approved with Student Life and Development Registration closes Friday, Jan. 20 Event is subject to change based on local health and public-safety conditions. In the instance that Week of Welcome is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, refunds will be issued. The registration fee is $10. Registration will be on Eventbrite and payment can be made using a debit or credit card or PayPal Registration includes: (1) 10 x 10 space, (1) table and (2) chairs for both days of the event All organizations bringing their own popup canopies must show proof that it’s fire retardant certified. At check in, canopies will be approved by event staff No additional tables or chairs will be provided No electricity provided All organizations must stay for the duration of the 3-hour event on both days In the instance that Week of Welcome is cancelled due to inclement weather refunds will not be provided Event Requirements: All members of the organizations tabling during the event are highly encouraged to wear a mask at all times. Additional masks will be available at the Beach Pride Events check-in table. Tables are to remain in their designated spot and are not permitted to be moved ASI will provide each table with a hand sanitizer bottle for all to use. Please leave the hand sanitizer bottle on the table at the end of the event. Organizations are required to clean up the trash in their space after each day. A $50 fee will be charged to any organization each day that trash is not cleaned up properly at the booth space. Process for event requirement violations The following system will be in place during the event for violations to the event rules: 1st Violation: Verbal warning given in person by event staff2nd Violation: Second and final verbal warning given in person by event staff 3rd Violation: Organization will be notified by event staff that they are required to leave the event. The organization will need to immediately cease tabling and exit the event. Any expelled groups will not be able to table any additional days of the event and no refund will be given.
