Captain Jones has been with the North Charleston Fire Department for 18 years. He was born and raised in North Charleston and Graduated from R.B. Stall high school in 2003. Since then he has been committed to giving back to the community he grew up in. Captain Jones is assigned as the Captain of Rescue 207 and has always been an example as a Firefighter. He's a member of South Carolina Task Force 1, a Rope Rescue Tech, a Confined Space Tech, and a Structural Collapse specialist and has been awarded multiple times throughout his career. Captain Jones has always been an Asset to the NCFD.
In early October of 2022 Captain Jones suffered an injury while operating on an apartment fire that left him out of work. He recently underwent invasive neck surgery and is still at home recovering. Since then he has been unable to work either at the fire department or part-time. All this happened right before bringing a new life into the world.
