"GREATER LOVE HAS NO ONE THAN THIS, THAN TO LAY DOWN ONE'S LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS" JOHN 15:13 About the Event: This is a fundraising event to support the worship music production and marketing for the 2023 release year. The goal is to release one new song per month. The cost for just the production for one song is $2500. The marketing per song is $1000-$2000 per song. This is a pretty large amount for independant worship artists! So we have decided to find partners, investors, and supporters to help us fund this very important project. The evening will consist of Authentic Costa Rican cuisine, made by Leslie's sister and missionary to Costa Rica, dessert, and fun activities for the evening. This would be a perfect date night! Fun activities will include live entertainment and music by Life Laid Down and other local artists and comedians! Other fundraising activities at the dinner will include a merch table with music and apparel, a silent or live aution or raffle, exclusive Supporter t-shirts for sale, and partner/sponsor cards. Who is Life Laid Down? We are Kingdom Cryers inviting God’s people into relationship with the King of Kings through authentic worship and praise music! The 15th chapter of John speaks to abiding in Christ and the commandment to lay down our lives in love for one another. We are commanded to bear fruit as we abide in His love. This is the place where our story began to take shape around our mission and calling. Life Laid Down is our heart cry to live a life of surrender to Jesus and to go and bear fruit for His Kingdom. (John 15:16). We are a Couple of Laid Down Jesus Lovers Following The Spirit Of God Into The Throne Room Of Worship - And We Want To Take You With Us! This event is to raise money for the production and marketing costs for our new Worship Album: The King's Invitation. The "King’s Invitation" album is a response to a mission the Lord spoke into our hearts through a vision of proclaiming His invitation to all of the Kingdom to come into relationship with the King of Kings. In the midst of fear, brokenness, and uncertainty, we want to provide songs that will help us shift our focus toward Jesus and the love he so deeply wants us to experience through a place of intimacy. Our goal is to equip the body of Christ to enter into God’s presence and respond to His invitation. It is our mission to reach as many souls with the invitaion of Jesus as possible. If ONE soul is saved through our message/music every ounce of effort and dollar spent is 100% worth it. He is after the ONE. It gets our hearts right to enter in. This is like the start of a church service, a conference, etc. It is the area of large gatherings of praise. Then we "praise until the worship comes." Inner courts = Worship, this is the place where we enter deeper. It is where we are purified and where great awe happens. It's where repentance is real and deep and where we surrender. It is where we bring our offerings, requests, etc. Then we "worship until the glory comes." Holy of Holies: This is the part where He has received our sacrifices and begins to pour into us. He ministers to us in this place on the other side of the veil. It is where we are fully engaged in relationship and he shows us His heart. The sweet place of being in His glory. This is where we are filled to overflowing and sent out into the world as a carrier of His presence. We "Stand in the Glory" Our calling is to take God’s people through this process.
