Vaughn has been a trailblazer and forerunner among women in ministry for the last 40 years. From answering the call of God in 1974 to her elevation as a Bishop on November 5, 1995 in the West African country of Nigeria. Dr. Corletta J. Vaughn is the Senior Pastor of the Holy Ghost Cathedral Church for 35 years, and Founding Apostle Go Tell It Evangelistic Ministry, Worldwide (1999). Dr. Vaughn was consecrated to the office of Bishop November 5, 1995 by Archbishop Benson Idahosa, in Benin City, Nigeria and in 1999 was elected to the Office of Presiding Bishop in Detroit Michigan over Go Tell It Ministry Worldwide Network, which provides professional development and oversight to churches, ministers, educators and business leaders nationally and internationally. Dr. Vaughn is the Founder and Chancellor of Kingdom and Faith Bible College in Detroit, Michigan, a licensed and accredited two-year school for ministers and church leaders; in addition, she is President of International Institute of Expansion; Coach Women Who Soar, Mentor and Academic Leader of Those Preaching Women; and is the Academic Dean of Holy Spirit Institute at Destiny University, Roseville Michigan. She is an advocate in the community working with the poor and disadvantaged fighting economic and educational inequities among women, youth and children. She is known world-wide for her teachings and writings in Pneumatology- the Doctrine of God the Holy Spirit. Many also know her as songwriter (“There’s A Flow) and a principal lead role in the Oxygen’s Network Reality Show: “Preachers of Detroit. Dr. Vaughn is an elected official and serves as Board of Trustee member for the Detroit Public Schools Community District.
