I am in need of someone to cover my paper route one weekend (possibly more in the future if willing). The route goes from Fort Smith, up to Van Buren, and then over into the Alma area. Everything necessary will be provided, only thing you need to bring is a car and the time available to do it. The route typically begins at 1:00am on Sunday morning when the newspapers are dropped off in Fort Smith. It's ~110 stops and about the same in miles. I usually complete it around 9:00am-10:00am. It is an early wake up, but for $400 you'll be making $33.33 an hour even if it takes you 12 hours to complete! Whether it takes you 6 hours or 12 though, the pay is $400. $150 of it can/will be given a few days in advance in order to help compensate you for the gas or other expenses, and the remaining $250 will be given once I can confirm that the paper route was done without an unacceptable amount of customer complaints (5 or so is perfectly fine, but if 25 people call saying they didn't get their paper, some money will be withheld.) I will only be able to fully confirm the paper route was finished properly on the following Sunday, Jan 15th. Once I can confirm, you will be receiving the money promptly. What will be provided is the route list, the plastic bags needed to wrap the papers, full detailed instructions, and of course, the newspapers. You will need to stack the newspaper parts in a specific order. Further specifics will be given and further questions can be answered once interest in completing the job is shown.
