This one is a long shot but needing help for her so I’m here asking for it Chloe is a very sweet and super smart dog. She is small (25-30lbs) Chloe is our oldest dog out of 6 (listed our youngest two for adoption on here as well) Her dad is an AKC Lab, her mom is an AKC cocker spaniel, we got her as a puppy in 2017 from CL. We got to meet both parents and her 14 siblings. Chloe has an auto immune issue, making her look older than she is, she already has grey on her face and has lost a few bottom front teeth, her skin is thickened in some parts of her body (inside ears, back, butt, tail) which seems to get worse with hot weather and to get better in winter. She does not have mange or mites. Chloe needs to be put on steroids to reduce her auto-immune caused inflammation, however she is already a bossy cranky dog (she bites and bosses around our way too nice yellow lab that’s 4 times her size that lets her but some of our other dogs fight back) so giving her the meds she needs just isn’t possible here, we have a lot of cats and a pack of dogs with another alpha and a 6yo child. I would love to find her a home that can take care of her properly without all the obstacles that we are facing here. A home without other dogs or kids that could give her vet care to take care of her inflammations that is aging her without risking anyones safety. Chloe does not need a fence, she sticks around on her own but can sometimes be stubborn about coming back inside so I would love to find her a home with a fenced backyard. She should need to not have a very active lifestyle, no long strenuous hikes due to her join inflammations etc… Asking for $50 rehoming fee or can be waved for elderly people, or vet references or home visit. I just want to find her a good home that can care for her better than we can. I always mention that I will buy our pet back for any reason if they are not a good fit, we love them and wish we could keep them all, however our financial situation is always a hair away from catastrophe after 18 years of domestic violence and 3 years of court battles to gain our freedom and post separation financial abuse.
