The GATEway Science Fair Session 2Doors open at 2:15GATEway's Annual Science Fair is open to all interested students in grades 3-6 in Rochester, MN and the surrounding area.
Parents must be present at all times during the event.
New this year!Participants will be able to choose between two separate sessions -
12:15 PM-2:15 PM
and
2:15 PM -4:15 PM
To shorten the day, we will no longer offer a Science Museum Program or snack.
Students will receive a t-shirt, written feedback from reviewers, and a certificate of participation.
The registration fee of $5.00 includes a t-shirt if registered by the by the deadline of Wednesday, March 25, 2023. Late registrants may be accepted at full fee space permitting, but might not be able to receive t-shirts.

How to do a Science Fair ProjectThink of a topic that interests you, then do an experiment at home to learn more about it. Explain your experiment with pictures, words, and graphs on a display board.
Bring your board to the Science Fair to explain your project to reviewers.
Science professionals from our community discuss projects with students and provide written feedback.
The science fair is non-competitive: no ribbons or prizes are awarded.
