-Examine damaged vehicle and repair to estimates -Create parts order list -Technician removes, as necessary, all upholstery, accessories, electrical, etc window equipment and trim to have access to vehicle repair areas -Technician removes damaged parts to include frames, panels, grills, etc. -Straighten frames using frame straightening machine -Use power tools as needed to file, grand or sand repaired surfaces -Refinish repaired areas with the use of paint sprayer, sander and paint both -Repair and/or replace defective parts -Properly align headlights wheels and bleed braking systems when needed -Paint surfaces after performing body repairs Qualifications: -Knowledge of repair process by manufacturer -Competent to use frame machine and other collision repair instruments -Prefer candidate to have at least five years’ experience -Job requires heavy lifting
