Seeking Professional/Experienced Musicians for NEW Band

Meets

Dallas TX

Description

I like to keep these as short and sweet as possible, hopefully y'all can appreciate that! I am a (soon-to-be) 32 year old country artist looking for multiple professional musicians, as I am in the process of putting together a new group based in Dallas. I have been performing extensively for over 10 years, the last four in the northern region of the US with my previous band, Bourbon Creek (check me out at @bourboncreekmn on FB or IG). Upon establishment and solidifying the team, as well as getting tight with a strong portfolio of songs, my goal is to work towards performing (as a full band) roughly 2-3 nights per week to start. Show will primarily consist of covers (I tend to prefer a versatile setlist - primarily country, as well as some 90's alternative hits / classic rock hits / and perhaps one or two top 40 mainstream tunes sprinkled in for the crowds, which has always gone over extremely well from my experience). That said, I should also mention that I'm currently in the process of working towards producing an EP in the Spring of next year and plan to integrate these songs during performances. The talent I am seeking is for the following positions are: - Bass - Drummer - Utility Player (ideally, someone who can play keys & has lead guitar chops, but primarily seeking a keys player here. Multi-instrumentalist is a bonus). - Lead Guitarist (not opposed to a six piece group, have a lead guitarist identified, but mainstream country today can't hurt to have more than one on the stage) I need players who are tight and have extensive experience performing. Professionals-level quality musicians. There will be ramp up time before we're ready to start booking, but if you're the type of player who can listen to a record, learn your part just like the record, and show up once a week prepared to do a run through(s) as a group to put our style on it, you're who I'm looking for! Things that are hugely important to me, regardless of the roles we serve within this group: - Stage presence - Ability to sing (harmonies) In my opinion, what separates the great bands from the good ones, is awesome harmonies. Not EVERYONE in the group must have vocal ability, but I do prefer to bring together a five piece group where at least two of the five (aside from myself as the lead vocalist) have above average vocal ability. When I say "above average", for example, it would be amazing if you're someone who can do vocal runs, etc. and (hypothetically) could stand in as lead vox on a song without raising negative eyebrows across the listening crowd ;). If you're reading this and believe you could be a fit and/or are interested, please do not hesitate to text me. My number is and my name is Corey (stage name is now "Bourbon Smith"). I am highly confident that with the right team in place, this group will be well known across the state of Texas within 12-18 months time. I look forward to hearing from you.
