VIRTUAL MOCK JURY FOCUS GROUP On Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM we will be holding a Virtual Jury Focus Group. This will NOT be an in-person session. You must have access to the internet and either a computer with a video camera and microphone, or a tablet. You also need to have Zoom downloaded prior to Thursday, it’s free. Please do not use a smart phone because the audio and video are sometimes unstable. This is a mock jury for people to give their opinions in real pending legal cases. If selected, you will receive a confidentiality agreement online. This must be signed and returned prior to receiving the Zoom link. You will receive a Zoom video conference link by email shortly before the session starts. Please log in just before the session begins. You will not be able to log in after that. Please be prepared with a notepad to take notes during the session. Please be sitting at a desk or table for the duration of the focus group. You will be paid $60 for a 2 hour session, which will be paid immediately following the focus group via PayPal. THIS IS A REAL JURY FOCUS GROUP. PLEASE DO NOT FLAG AS SPAM. To apply, please complete the Google Form. Spaces are very limited, so register today! If you are chosen to participate you will receive an invitation email at least one week prior to the event. REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE: Must be a registered Voter Must provide picture ID, if asked Must have computer or tablet with webcam and microphone - NO Cellphones Must have a strong and reliable internet connection Must be able to be in a quiet undisturbed setting for 2 consecutive hours (there will be a break halfway through) Must have an active PayPal Account
