Experienced Guitarist Wanted for Established Cover Band

Our MKE-based cover band is looking for a new guitarist who can play rhythmically in the pocket and do some leads. Hopefully you can meet this criteria: -Vocal ability is a bonus (for harmonies & leads) -Someone who is kind, patient, and wants to have a great time with their band & their audience The music: -We do danceable pop/rock, a sprinkle of country and other genres -mostly 70s through 2000s -Open to adding songs that you know and love! The shows: -Private parties, weddings, summer festivals/community concerts, clubs ( **Looking for someone who has played State Fair, Summerfest, etc., and knows what that entails) -About half of our shows are private parties and weddings (please be willing to learn an extra song or two for each wedding) -40+ shows per year on average (about 60-70% happen in summer) -$$$ - generally at least $100 per person, per show -We run our own sound and lights for a lot of our shows, so we need someone who is comfortable with the extra time and energy commitment to do those things -Occasionally there might be an overnight stay (either the band or client would cover the cost, but you may have to room with another band member) Rehearsals: We’ve always held rehearsals in the Milwaukee area, but are currently looking for a new space Rehearsals are weekly (weeknights, or occasionally weekends during the day when necessary), with some flexibility Professional attitude is expected. We expect you can get yourself to rehearsals and gigs without issue, have professional equipment, and are willing to invest in your rig if/as needed.
